WORKSHOPS REGISTRATION
All workshop authors need to register by Saturday, 15 March 2014.
PLEASE NOTE: To be published in the IEEE ICC 2014 Workshop Proceedings and IEEE Xplore®, an author of an accepted workshop paper is required to register for the workshop and the paper must be presented at the workshop by an author of that paper at the conference unless the TPC Chair grants permission for a substitute presenter arranged in advance of the event and who is qualified both to present and answer questions. Non-refundable Workshop registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the workshop paper. Workshop Registration FAQ
- Q: One of the authors of our paper has registered for the conference; since then her paper was accepted. Could we use the registration confirmation code on our workshop registration?
A: No, to present at a workshop the author should also register for the day of that workshop. However, given that the author is already registered for the conference, the workshop day pass will be discounted (i.e. RG-13 or RG-14 can be used).
- Q: If an author has two accepted papers on different workshops, say WPLS and MASSAP, is one registration valid for his two papers?
A: If the workshops are scheduled on the same day, yes. Otherwise a two day pass should be obtained.
- Q: To register our paper and present at the workshop, is it OK if we register any of them from RG-10 to RG-17? Could we just register a one-day pass only registration for uploading the final manuscript and presenting our paper at the workshop? What is the difference between RG-13 and RG-15? How does the discount in RG-13 work exactly?
A: RG-10 to RG-12 are sufficient for attending or presenting at workshops. RG17 is only for attending industry forums. RG-13 to RG-16 should be used to register for workshops and upload papers. RG-13 and RG-14 are the discounted versions of RG-15 and RG-16 for those people who have registered for the main conference. This discount applies to full or limited conference registrations (RG-01 to RG-06) and student and life member registrations (RG-10 to RG-12).
